Phra Lak's chariot has been damaged in the fighting, so Hanuman says another spell and enlarges himself.  Taking Phra Lak on his shoulders, he leads him in search of the demon regent.  Striking down hordes of demons, left and right, they fight their way over to Mulplam's chariot.

The first shaft that Phra Lak lets fly at Mulplam destroys his chariot and lays low his soldiers.  Mulplam falls clear of the thrashing lions and hurls his discus at Lak.  It hisses menacingly towards the prince, but with a sweep of his bow Phra Lak destroys it.

Mulplam is now without either weapons or troops.  He leaps to his feet and, cursing the monkeys and their leaders, makes off as fast as he can go.  Phra Lak lays another arrow to his bow, draws back, aiming carefully and lets the shaft loose.  With lightning speed, the arrow strikes the demon's neck, killing him immediately.  The monkeys let out a great cheer and then fall to searching for booty.
